Books Change Lives Month - The Giver

When you're finished with Frankie's peer pressure assignments, head on over to Steph's Hey! Teenager of the Year blog for Books Change Lives Month. All through September, she's inviting people to submit posts about a book that just wouldn't let go of them when they finished reading it.

I submitted an entry for Lois Lowry's The Giver, one of my all-time favorites, and you can read about my very intense awe for it HERE. I can't wait to read about other people's lifelong favorites!

Thanks Steph for a great idea, and for reminding everyone the real reasons why we read and write!

  1. Hm, great pick! I'd have to say my two faves would be The Outsiders & 1984, both great books and the movies weren't bad either :)

  2. The Outsiders is also incredible, I agree. You should write a post about it!
