  1. Thanks, that was an interesting read. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be a literary agent; on one hand, it sounds exciting if you find a submission that has potential, and the idea of working with an author to get them published is appealing. The other side, all the reading, every day, and sorting through what's a good fit, and poor execution of good ideas, it makes me wonder if it it would take the fun out of reading. I think you have to be cut out for that type of work.

  2. Stephsco - Glad you enjoyed! I've often wondered if I would've gone the literary agent route if I lived in NYC -- I don't think I could've turned down an internship! But yes, I'm sure that it has its downsides.
